I have a Marathon 70 a roundabout 50 and I had a classic MA (its now expired it got lots of loving) I love my britax seats. The new seats should fit great in the smaller car, the new ones sit slightly different and the shell is slightly shorter, so it takes up a little less room when rear facing then the older seats. Just note the seat has two down sides it more then likely will not be your last seat before a traditional booster and if you want to ERF for a long time its not the best choice. However if you keep that in mind its not a bad choice.
Spitballin here.$250K gross $60K taxes (guess) $37K 401Ks $60K expenses $36K to savings leaves $57K. Sure. Pay it off in a year.Word of caution. I went down this road. Was always frugal. Got to where I could afford it. Got a real nice 5 series just out of its 4 year warranty (new would have been affordable but this seemed like what I wanted at a better value).
It then took us several days to get a slot at our dealer to get the problem addressed, where the dealer found that there was a gasket in the hood area that had become displaced. (Since being repaired, we have no more leakage issues.)(We did, however, have fogging issues all winter long, as moisture coming from the saturated carpet was a problem!!) (now that we’re into the warmer spring weather, the fogging issue seems to have resolved itself.))
And then you be stuck in a mode of buying new luxury cars, which will be a major expense over your lifetime and it matter less and less.Another alternative is to save up to buy the car you want with cash. It easy to overspend when you thinking about a car in terms of payments, but the tradeoffs are more stark when you pay with cash. That said, I won be the pf stereotype of saying “no new cars or luxury cars ever”.
Throughout this whole process I kept thinking: I could walk into any BMW, Porsche, Toyota, whatever dealership with this pre approved loan and leave with a new car in less than 60 minutes most likely. If it took longer, it only be because they getting me a bigger discount or getting it delivered from another store.
He watched the cameras as the Graze entered the hangar and settled into one of the racks intended for Garm Rodis. It didn’t look like any Graze he’d seen before. It must be some new prototype they were working on. He shut the blast doors again and called for the hangar crew to bring a medical team to the docking bay. Then he took another sip of his coffee and turned the sports broadcast back on.
/ Matthew SheahanEmailTwitterPinterestFacebookAs BMW Oracle Racing’s USA 17 crossed the finishing line for the second and final time on February 14 2010, winning the world’s oldest international sporting trophy had cost the team roughly $720,000 per minute. At least, that was the best guess by experts who have suggested that BMW Oracle Racing’s campaign for the 33rd America’s Cup cost as much as $200m. But even this extraordinary sum spent during three years of preparation for two races that lasted a total of 4 hours and 39 minutes didn’t really reveal the true expense. Software billionaire Larry Ellison’s crusade for the America’s Cup started with the formation of his team in 2000, yet despite being among the best funded, his 2002 2003 and 2007 campaigns both failed to get the team into the position of eventual challenger. If the costs of these endeavours were taken into account, the final tally for Ellison’s success could be as much as $500m.
His residual is 6k as per KBB private party. That fine and dandy, but unless he takes the effort to sell the vehicle on his own (which most people sadly don he might get $3500 for trade in value on an exceptionally good day, of course heavily depending in the condition of the car.
Surrounding the eSports industry value chain, Plair will become the place to go for an online social experience where gamers come to interact when playing, watching, chatting and creating gaming content. Through blockchain technology, our economic model and algorithms, Plair will be able to quantify the value members are creating for the platform, and reward them for their time, participation, viewership, growth, intellectual property and various activities on the platform with Plair Tokens (PLA), a crypto asset that will hold real value sustaining or even thriving by their gaming lifestyles.
Took the CarPlay option for 3 years but it is not good value for money, meaning for my next car I will not buy it and stick with the default connected drive ui.There are some finicky UI issues: when using the buttons in the car to go to CarPlay menus or screens it will just go to the active bfakn.club CarPlay screen depending on your location.
The Verdict: The Mazda Miata provides the handling capability of much more expensive sports cars in an affordable package. While it isn’t practical and won’t carry more than one passenger, this is the best performing sports car in its price range. If you need something practical, this isn’t the car for you. But if you are looking for a car that you can use as a daily driver and also take to the Autocross course and have success, you’ll want to take a serious look at a Miata!
The first Mitsubishi Eclipse was sold in 1990, but, like the Celica, the most appealing Eclipse models will be the second through fourth generations (1995 2012). Obvious benefits of these later generations are that they will be newer and carry fewer miles, but another factor to consider is the major styling upgrades that separated the later generations from the first.
I had someone slam on their breaks the other day on a fast road, fully stopped, no cars coming, waiting for 2 or 3 minutes until they put their indicator on, then turned. I’m glad I plan ahead when driving and have good reactions to idiots. I could go on forever
We went through a million options, but basically I have a negative equity of $15000 that would have to be rolled into a new lease, making my payment on even a base model BMW higher than what I am paying now and for a 36mo term instead of my remaining 15mo lease. We looked at doing a buy back of my car instead of a lease trade in, but it was originally so overvalued in our deal that I am still negative the 15000. I listed it on lease trader but doubt that anyone will be interested in this car for that monthly price. They also mentioned financing my car to purchase, but three days after I got the car I was hit and it effected the alignment of the car so I am not interested in this option. We went to another BMW dealer different than the one that originally did the deal and they were shocked at what they had done to us. The only option seems to be for me to keep my car for a few more months and hope that BMW offers a pull ahead program again where they pay 3 4 of the remaining payments to get you into a new car. My boyfriend ended up leasing a new 530e and we plan on using his rebates for the electric car to pay down some of my car, but I would obviously ideally like to find a different way out of this.
But there was still more to this Cup of extremes. When the teams’ two boats appeared on the water the sailing public drew breath. Two of the biggest, most advanced multihulls that the sailing world had ever seen suddenly changed the mood among Cup followers. At last, the conversation switched from the frustration of complex court hearings, to that of the prospect of a spectacular battle of two behemoths on the water.
There is, of course, an argument to be had about how automatics outperform manuals nowadays. This is usually true! But the real issue for manuals falling out of favor on many supercars is that the demand just wasn’t there. And, truth be told, plenty of Lambos and Ferrari’s get sold to people who simply like them as status symbols. These people typically do not care to drive stick either.
This morning my MIL (mother in law) got into a small accident with DS (dear son) in the car. He’s fine, but now we need to get new car seats (might as well get the convertibles now). DS (dear son) is four months old and about 16 pounds and I’m not sure about how long he is, but he has short legs like we do. We want something that will keep him rear facing for a long time, so at least 40 pounds rf. DH (dear husband) has a 2002 BMW X5, I have a 2002 Mitsubishi Galant and MIL (mother in law) has a small sedan. She and I would share the our convertible as our cars would be used the least amount of time. What are your recommendations?
I still need to finish leveling it a bit, and order some top soil and spread it, and then plant grass. But is there anything I should make sure and do before that? I really do want this to be a very beautifully landscaped backyard, and I plan on doing all the work myself. I work full time though and only do this on weekends, so for now it just going to be grass and I design and install hardscape things later.
The Kurdish Peshmerga fighter decided to invest in an armored car, but he had little clue the vehicle would end up saving the lives of dozens of people. After shopping around, he settled on a bulletproof BMW, and paid $10,000 for the early 1990s model at a car auction.”My friends were very happy when I bought the armored car,” he tells CNN. “We started driving in it to the front line near Kirkuk, not worried about ISIS drive by shootings or roadside bombs.”Abdulrahman, 32, lives with his wife and four children in Taza Khurmatou, some 23 kilometers south of Kirkuk. On October 21, dozens of ISIS militants carried out a coordinated series of attacks on the oil rich city, targeting security forces and civilians in several neighborhoods; 64 died and 86 ISIS militants were killed.More than 100 civilians and security personnel were wounded; many of them were left stranded because of ISIS militants’ indiscriminate firing, while others were trapped by the terror group’s snipers shooting from rooftops.ISIS sniper fireAbdulrahman knew he had to act.”I told myself, this is the right time to help people, this is the right moment to do it. I am a fighter and I have a bulletproof car, shame on me if I can’t help,” he says.
Honestly I more nostalgic for the cars I wanted if I just had a bit more money when I was in high school. That was around 2010ish, and I dreamed of 90 WRXs, Legacy GTs, Evos, Integra and Civic Type Rs, basically sporty 90 Japanese cars that were just a bit out of my reach but some of the other kids in school had. I actually especially nostalgic for Starlet GTs and Glanza turbos because I came very close to buying one for my first car, before I came across a deal on an Accord Euro R.
Put the Defender outboard on passenger side for the teacher to help your son in/out of the car. It’s easy to buckle/unbuckle; by the time school starts, your son may be able to even do it himself! (And if the teacher or any other school parents complain to you about the extra 30 seconds it takes to buckle a child into a 5 point harness, tell them that at his young age and size, those 30 seconds make ALL the difference to his safety in a car crash. Isn’t a child’s life and future worth 30 seconds???)
It’s the same story with the MK4 Roadster as with the hot rod above: All you need is an engine (Ford 289/302, 351, or 4.6l 4V V8), transmission, rear end, paint, wheels, tyres, batter, and fuel pump. All in all, this is a great little bit of kit for the money, and it’s backed up by professional service, outstanding quality, and a great price! As with the ’33 Hot Rod, expect to pay upwards of $25,000 for a completed car.
OK, it might not use a Lamborghini V12, but it does let you fit a BMW V12! The early 5.0l from the late ’80s can be picked up cheaply and tuned up nicely to 400bhp+, and that will be enough for most! You’ll still need to source your gearbox, but most of the other components to complete this car are available from Parallel Designs, including at 6.0 VT and GT bodies. For a basic car using the Rover V8, expect to pay 25,000 and up and probably another 2000 for the V12 (with better gearbox, brakes and some engine mods.)
The Verdict: In addition to the fantastic engine, the Celica has all the practicality of a hatchback. It is also front wheel drive. Although this is less fun than an RWD sports car, your parents (if you’re still in high school) and insurance agent will probably appreciate it! Another thing to keep in mind is the legendary reliability of Toyota cars. You can count on this lasting well past 100k miles without anything more than oil, brake pads, and tires. If something does go wrong, the parts for this car are cheap.
I wish you luck in overcoming your suicidal thoughts and/or desires. I hope you understand that it not normal to want to die, and that while you may feel like you rationally considering things, the most likely possibility is that you are not, and you owe it to yourself to explore every opportunity to get better. There is hope. Even for me.
I’ve been driving for almost 20 years accident free. That translates to about 7,300 days of driving genius, with a substantial dose of switching to different sides of the road as I changed continents. So I take a measure of pride in my safe driving record, especially considering some of the places I have driven in. Not surprisingly, the German registration rules required me to obtain my own third party insurance from a German based insurer before my car registration would be processed. But imagine my surprise when I learned that no German insurer would recognise my driving record. Despite going to every major insurer in Germany, the answer was always the same: We do not accept insurance records outside of the European economic area. With no way to verify my insurance history, the quotes I received were sky high almost 30% of the vehicle’s value annually and all of that money for just third party insurance coverage. I was beyond words. The bureaucratic machine had busted me down to an 18 year old, albeit without the youth to match.
